We recently had the opportunity to meet a few boxers at Kings Gym. Sol, a 12-year-old boxer with five years under his belt, Katie, a more recent fighter who will be competing for the first time next month, and Joe, a fitness trainee turned boxer who looks to win his second fight on February 17th to hold onto his undefeated record. We also met Vonda Ward, IBA and WBC Heavyweight World Champion. There dedication to fitness was amazing and inspiring.

</rss:item><rss:item rdf:about="http://www.rbmspokes.com/main/2012/1/5/sarah-jeff-new-years-eve-sde.html"><rss:title>sarah + jeff // New Year's Eve SDE</rss:title><rss:link>http://www.rbmspokes.com/main/2012/1/5/sarah-jeff-new-years-eve-sde.html</rss:link>

<dc:subject></dc:subject>

As 2011 came to a celebratory end, we captured our first New Year's Eve wedding at the Athletic Club of Columbus. Sarah and Jeff are an energetic and fun loving couple, and they were all for the idea of previewing the Same Day Edit right after midnight. A very special thanks to Lauryn Byrdy and her assistant Amber for being so great to work with...please check out her amazing photography. After capturing an emotionally filled day, we could not wait to show the SDE. With horns blaring and the awesome MoJoFlo playing, we showed our first film of 2012.

</rss:item><rss:item rdf:about="http://www.rbmspokes.com/main/2011/12/20/one-more-day.html"><rss:title>One more day...</rss:title><rss:link>http://www.rbmspokes.com/main/2011/12/20/one-more-day.html</rss:link>

<dc:subject></dc:subject>

Lately there has been great anticipation for A Game of Honor. A special screening last night at MoMA in New York was very well received and CBS sports president Sean McManus described it as "one of the proudest nights in the history of CBS Sports". It is a true tribute to the men and women of our armed forces. The football sequences are stunning, but the stories and emotion of the players and their families is what you will always remember.

A few months ago we were approached by CBS Sports, after our friend Patrick Moreau of Stillmotion, a filmmaker from Mississauga, Canada (and Director of Photography for the upcoming Showtime documentary “A Game of Honor”), recommended that we film a game between the Army Knights and the Miami Redhawks in Oxford, Ohio. We of course were honored to be a part of this, and agreed to the shoot. The experience was incredible. We were allowed all-access to the Army football team, coaches, and trainers from the time they arrived at the stadium, until the buses drove off. We have had the opportunity to shoot some professional sports in the past, but the close proximity we were given to this team was unprecedented for us. It opened up a world of imagery, which, in normal circumstances, would have been more difficult to capture. We pushed ourselves, and learned a lot during the process.

Prelude: The Making of ‘A Game of Honor’ aired last week, and will be airing again before the documentary premieres (Dec. 21st 10pm EST). We were happy to see some our clips in the film and can’t thank Stillmotion, Showtime and CBS Sports enough for giving us this great opportunity. Also, don’t forget to watch Army vs. Navy on December 10th at 2:30 (EST) on CBS.

</rss:item><rss:item rdf:about="http://www.rbmspokes.com/main/2011/8/5/medwish-brigade-nicaragua.html"><rss:title>Medwish Brigade | Nicaragua</rss:title><rss:link>http://www.rbmspokes.com/main/2011/8/5/medwish-brigade-nicaragua.html</rss:link>

<dc:subject></dc:subject>

We are wrapping up a week long visit to Nicaragua. There are many stories to tell and and images to convey. Our whole team, Christian, Brian and Mark captured the joy and smiles of Nicaragua's future and themselves were enriched by the experience. Unlike so many previous depictions of aid to those in need, we chose to tell their story through their eyes. MedWish is about people. People who donate their time and care to the recipients of the repurposed medical supplies. People who receive the supplies and are able to make their life a bit easier. The first day in Granada, Nicaragua we were able to come along on the delivery or a repurposed wheelchair. Maria Jose has not been able to walk since birth and was being transported in a baby stroller which she had outgrown. The wheelchair had been destined to be placed in a landfill or unused in a hospital closet.

</rss:item></rdf:RDF>
